Mary Rosenblum, Clarion West instructor and alumni, reads from her recent work at the University Book Store, 4326 University Way NE in Seattle.

Mary Rosenblum is an accomplished writer of both science fiction and, under the name Mary Freeman, mystery. Her first novel, The Drylands, won the 1994 Compton Crook Award, while later works such as the thought-provoking, political and social science fiction thriller Horizon have earned abundant praise. Rosenblum brings well-realized technologies and world building together with psychological complex, engaging characters, and gripping plot.

A signing session will follow Rosenblum's reading.
